WHY THIS EVENT The Goals
Every year, Design Matters digs deep into topics that are relevant to the design industry and community. This pop-up event will revolve around three of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals compiled by the United Nations, which is also a direction Design Matters is working to take as a company.
Why we do it
To us focusing on the UN Global Goals is a way to give visibility and further develop the work that is already being done by so many designers in our international community. This is also a way to educate our community showing how to contribute with specific solutions for the making of a sustainable world through design.
We can accomplish so much together. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals can only be fulfilled by a strong will to shape a completely different society. Therefore, our commitment and the commitment of the designers and creatives in our network is crucial.
